We would like to request the ability to receive proactive alerts or notifications when approaching or exceeding our licensed device limit.
Currently, license usage can only be monitored manually through the “Bill Forecast” page. There are no alerts or safeguards in place to notify administrators when usage is nearing or has exceeded the licensed threshold. This creates a risk of unexpected overage charges, especially in environments where devices may be enrolled through existing enrollment packages without immediate visibility.
A notification system would allow administrators to better manage licensing and take corrective action before billing occurs.
Requested functionality:
- Configurable threshold alerts (e.g., 80%, 90%, 100% of license usage)
- Email notifications when thresholds are reached or exceeded
- Optional alerts for overages prior to billing date
  • (Optional) Ability to enforce a hard cap to prevent additional enrollments once the license limit is reached
Business impact:
This feature would significantly improve cost control, transparency, and administrative efficiency by reducing the need for manual monitoring and preventing unexpected billing events.
