Variables in Canned Responses

In SDv1, we had variables that we could use for the canned responses. For Example, we could use the ticket number, the user's name or link to ticket. It seems this is not yet implemented in SDv2; It would be very helpful if this could be implemented. We had created some canned responses in SDv1 and would love to get these in SDv2. Thank you!
